Privacy
A short overview of your information and rights.
Responsibility and contact
The company providing Sancera is the data controller. Contact hello@sancera.ai about your personal information.
What information and why?
We process your email address, account information, subscription and usage to provide the service and manage payments. This is necessary to perform our contract with you. If you contact us, we process your message to provide support, based on our legitimate interest. Payment and accounting information is also processed where required by law.
When you use Sancera through an AI assistant, the assistant sends the query parameters needed to fetch the requested data. We log the number of requests per key and which tools were used. To improve how Sancera chooses a source, we also keep a de-identified template of the question for 90 days, with names, places, numbers and dates removed. The template is not linked to your account. We do not store the question itself. When you use Sancera through the Claude or ChatGPT app directory, no such template is stored.
Who receives it?
Providers helping us with sign-in, email and payments receive the information needed for their task. Stripe handles payments. Your AI assistant is provided by a third party and processes your questions under its own privacy policy. Some providers process information in the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the EU standard contractual clauses.
How long?
Account information is retained for as long as needed for your account and the service. Support information is retained for as long as needed for the enquiry. Information required by law, such as accounting records, is retained for the statutory period.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction and data portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. These rights apply under the GDPR and may be limited by legal requirements. Email hello@sancera.ai. You may also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
We never store the question itself.
